LONDON - England midfielder Scott Parker admitted he was worried about not been able to play when the game began to enter the Three Lions 2012 next June, because the condition is not yet fit.
However, although the middle of a fight to regain full fitness, Parker believes he will be 100 percent when opening Group D game against France next June 11. As is known,Parker is still receiving treatment on his groin injury that sidelined him four games lastseason with Tottenham Hotspur.
"I can not lie, I was very worried about my name is not registered," said Parker told TheSun, Wednesday (05/30/2012). "I do not play Tottenham in the last four games, I receiveinjections and injuries take time to recover, "he continued.
"But, my luck might change, because ultimately my condition began to improve and I feelthe opportunity to elect to increase, if I am fit enough to play. This injury is fine now and is being treated by the British medical team, "said Parker who played for Chelsea.
Parker added that currently the most needed is to regain full fitness so that when coachRoy Hodgson wants it down, he was always ready.
"The biggest challenge is to regain full fitness. I played against Norway and I am getting stronger. I had 10 days training to get better conditions, so hopefully I'll be fully fit whenthe tournament progresses," he explained.
